LIMMUD NZ 2018 has ended
Saturday, August 25 • 4:15pm - 5:15pm
BEING JEWISH IN SMALL KIWI COMMUNITIES

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session we will hear from some of the smaller Jewish communities within Aotearoa New Zealand (e.g. Hamilton, Christchurch, Dunedin) and discuss the various perspectives, contexts, and implications of Jewish identity outside of the larger centers of Auckland and Wellington. All Limmud attendees, regardless of geography, are encouraged to participate in this cross-denominational discussion. If you are a member of a small (and perhaps struggling) Jewish community, or a member of one of the larger congregations, your participation and contribution may help find ways that we can help contribute to the Jewish life and identity of those living outside of larger Jewish communities.
