Cooking has been the focus of Yael’s life. When she left Israel to study in the UK, it dawned on her how important good food is and how it can lift your spirits as well as being central to home life and ritual. Yael will discuss Israeli food – a combination of Jewish, Mediterranean, Palestinian and North African cuisine – and its reflection of our identity.
